Amelia is a multidisciplinary artist and producer from Philadelphia. She is a self-taught filmmaker who directed and produced the films, “Until and Unless: Decriminalizing Queer India” and “Testimony: 52nd St. and the Invisible Violence of UPenn” (winner of the 2021 Blackstar Film Festival Shine Award). Amelia has 10 years of community organizing experience in Philadelphia, where she most recently founded and directed the grassroots organization Penn Community for Justice and Philly Human Rights Appeal. Currently, Amelia is the Managing Director of the art and history organization, Monument Lab. In 2022 Amelia was granted the Leeway Transformation Award for her years of service in art for social change.
